ART OF WAR for The Caregiver

This series came about when I realized I had a deep need to express my own experiences as a lifelong caregiver.  They are all self-portraits and visual expressions of my thoughts at the time of their creation.

Oftentimes, they seem unfair.

Disease in its many forms is not fair, nothing that happens within the framework which a serious illness brings with it resembles what would be considered as a normal life.

But as with many things in life, It is what It is.
